Growth Mindset: I have never heard of 'Carol Dwek' before until now. I have heard of 'Growth Mindset' before though. I learned about this from watching her Ted Talk about 'the power of believing that you can improve'. I would have to say that I would be a bit of both sometimes when it comes to where I am on the fixed  mindset spectrum and the mindset spectrum. Honesty I would probably dabble into both. Now that doesn't mean its fifty fifty all the time but I would label myself as fully only one of the those two either. I would have to say that if I was talking about this from a travelling or baking perspective which, are things I enjoy doing then I would be more on the growth mindset spectrum because I enjoy these activities and I feel less pressure and stress over them... well most of the time. I'd say it depends on what activity or school or college situation that your talking about because you could be either or depending on the situation because it

Introduction to a future something....?

Introduction Post: The best class that I took last semester was 'Design Process & Practice'. I really enjoyed this module last semester because I found it to be very interesting and creative. I really enjoyed using the program, 'Illustrator' when I was making posters, leaflets and some lab task work. I found it to be exciting because it was a module where I could let my creativity fly! I also found the group assignment to be informative and fun. I found working in a group to be an experience which intrigued me. I worked on projects in a group for an assignment and we would meet up and describe our ideas and do brainstorms. We also chose to do one task each and come in and meet up and discuss and present what we each had done. I chose to do the research and statistics part because I taught that i would found that job to be the most interesting for me. This module really helped me gain a better understanding of how to use the program, 'illustrator' and how t

Workshop 01 Reflection on the workshop: The topic is entirely new to me. I have never done this type of exercise before. During  the first workshop we had to put ourselves into groups with our peers. We had to to figure out the 'traffic light exercise'. We had to describe in plain english how each traffic light works according to the illustration that we were given. Once we did this we had to draw a sequence/flow chart outlining the steps or procedure for our proposed solution. I found this to be a good exercise step because it made it easier to visualise our idea on how each traffic light would work in sequence with the others.                   I learned how apply myself to describe how our idea worked in a more visual way. I felt that the delivery method worked very well for us as it made our idea seem clearer. I enjoyed working in groups with other people and to discuss and to provide a solution to our problem. Then we developed a timeline based solution using Adobe An
