Update - Week 11

In Today's blog, I will be discussing what I did for this week for our project and what task I have completed for the development of the game. This week we all met up on Thursday to discuss what we have all completed so far and what needs to be done soon. Last week a calendar was drawn up in order to keep track of what is due and when.  This was done so each member of the team knew what they needed to do and by what date it was to be finished.

This week I updated the Asset list by adding the price of all of the assets that you have to pay for. I did this so that you would straight away know how much the individual asset costs and you have it all in one document.  I thought that this was a good idea because that way it would be easy to keep track of the cost of the assets. All of the assets that you have to pay for are all under ten euro as if we were to pay for assets this would ensure our budget wouldn't become unmanageable. I added up the cost of all the assets that are in the document currently so we would have an idea of a budget but, that being said some assets that I found that are free are quite similar to the some of the ones that you pay for therefore this total isn't an accurate representation of our proposed budget if any for the game.  This simply adding up the price of all the assets that were found so far to get an idea of how much it would cost but that doesn't mean that any of the assets that cost money will be used or maybe just a few will be used for the final game if needed.

Here are some screenshots of the Asset list as of Week 11 after updates -

  1. Hey,
Nice to see all your research into the assets that will be useful for the project. You have done a lot of work to get the ones we need to make our game as good as it can be. You made the job of the game creators so much easier by documenting the links and prices for the asset packs so the team can budget where they need to. Be great to see what's next and I wish you all the best.

    Only up from here!!!!
